Tubular Solenoids

MSS linear tubular solenoids, also referred to as sealed body solenoids, are available in pull type and push type versions. They are highly efficient in applications requiring both short and long strokes without compromising force due to their geometry and construction.

This line of linear solenoids covers a variety of sizes, from miniature solenoids through the largest in the industry with strokes of up to 115 mm (4.5 inches) and forces up to 470 N (105 lb).

MSS tubular solenoids utilize a sealed body for maximum performance in DC applications. The low friction coating on the actuator (plunger) and proper bearing material support very long-life applications with tens of millions of actuation cycles.

All data on solenoids in this section is based on using D.C. voltages. A.C. voltages may be first rectified using full wave bridge rectifiers and then be used with D.C. solenoids.
